In Kalliola, we are doing our best to prepare for the corona virus (Covid-19) and doing our part in preventing the virus from spreading. We are taking the situation seriously and this week extra cleaning measures have taken place in our units and our staff have been reminded of the importance of hand hygiene.
Our units are visited daily by countless people from different backgrounds. For the time being, we will continue business as usual at Kalliola. However, if you have recently spent time with a person who is suspected of being infected with the coronavirus, or if you have visited an epidemic area, we do wish that you don’t participate in our activities during the incubation period, or if you display any symptoms.
The symptoms or the virus include fever, headache, cough and shortness of breath.
By these means we wish to limit the spread of the virus in our communal spaces. We also wish that all our visitors to take special care regarding hygiene: please wash your hands frequently, and cough in a sleeve or napkin rather than your hands. We will also have hand sanitiser available in our premises.
We also wish that persons displaying symptoms of any type of illness would stay home in order to get better, instead of coming to Kalliola units and risk infecting others. If you know your risk of infection has increased since your recent visit, please inform us by getting in touch with a member of staff.
Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
